Anne Englese

     Anne Englese 62 of Lake Ariel, Pa. passed away on Friday June 27, 2025. She was the loving wife of Anthony “Tony” Englese with whom she had celebrated 41 years of marriage. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Antionette ( Biscello) Schauder.

  Anne was residing in the Lake Ariel area for the past 9 years and prior to that of Middle Village, Queens, N.Y. area. She was of the Catholic faith.

  In addition to her husband Tony, she is survived by 2 sons: Anthony Englese and his wife Katie of Chappaqua, New York and Dominick Englese and his wife Nirmeen of Stroudsburg, Pa., 2 granddaughters: Sofia and Grace.

  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday July 3, 2025, at 11:00am from St. Luke’s Catholic Church 818 Main St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360 with Fr. Michael Quinnan as celebrant. Cremation will follow the services. There will be a viewing on Wednesday July 2, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360.
