Angel Pagan, 81, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania died Monday, May 11, 2026, at home with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Maria Morales with whom he shared 32 years of marriage. Born in Villalba, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Ramon Pagan and Christina Gonzalez.
Angel moved to the United States when he was 21 years old and worked as a cabinet and furniture maker. He was a loving father and grandfather, putting family above all else. He loved to make people laugh. Angel enjoyed watching sports and rooting for the Eagles, Mets and sometimes the Yankees; but favored wrestling and boxing. He also appreciated the outdoors and would spend time walking his beloved dog, Mookie, taking in the wonders of nature.
Along with his wife, Angel is survived by his children: Yolanda Vargas; Marilyn Pagan; Angel Luis Pagan, Jr; Richard Pagan; Angel David Pagan; brother: Roberto Pagan; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wanda E. Pagan.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to the time of service.
