Angel L. Figueroa

  Angel L. Figueroa, 82 of Saylorsburg, Pa. passed away on Saturday Nov. 13, 2021. He was the loving husband of Frances Figueroa. Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico he was the son of Maxino and Saturnine Figueroa. Angel was residing in the Saylorsburg area for the past 20 years and prior to that he resided in the Queens, New York area. He was employed as a souse chef at the Plaza Hotel in New York City for many years and he was of the catholic faith.

  In addition to his wife Frances he is survived by his children: Maida Guglielmo of West Chester, N.Y., Evelyn Figueroa of New York City, N.Y., Angel Figueroa and Edward Figueroa both of Saylorsburg, Pa., 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and his siblings: Josephine Cartagena, Julia Figueroa, Carmen Gladys Figueroa and Harry Figueroa.

  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday Nov. 19, 2021 at 12:00 noon at St. Luke's Catholic Church 818 Main St.  St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360 with Fr. Michael Quinnan as celebrant .Burial will be in the Stroudsburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday Nov. 18, 2021 from 10:00am until 10:30am at the funeral home.
