Amber May Harman, 30 of Bangor, Pa. passed away on July 10, 2021 at the Lehigh Valley Hospice House Pocono in East Stroudsburg, Pa. after a brave month long battle with a terminal illness.
Born on Dec. 27, 1990 in E. Stroudsburg, Pa. she was the daughter of David and Melissa (Houck) Harman III of East Stroudsburg, Pa.
Amber graduated from the E. Stroudsburg South High School class of 2009. She studied graphic design at the Art Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. She was a member East Stroudsburg Color guard team traveling to Worlds in Daytona placing 3rd. in the country. Prior to the Covid pandemic she worked as a bartender & waitress at local restaurants and bars and also in sales in local auto dealerships. While residing in Florida she worked as a waitress and at a law firm. She also works at Sweet Creams in Stroudsburg in her teens. Amber recently opened up an Etsy business account selling her creations.
Amber had a love for design and was very artistic which shined through in her beautifully decorated apartment where she created a home for her small family. She hosted beautiful themed birthday parties & family Halloween costumes for her son. She was a great Mon, her son was her world. Amber had a great sense of humor, a big smile & a huge easy going personality. She loved her family getting together on holidays and birthday celebrations. She lived life to the fullest traveling across country to California, The X games in Texas and as a child she traveled from Maine to Florida, loved the beach and Disney. She will be missed by all who knew her, while the family grieves this tremendous loss.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her beloved son, Tidus Soto, her sister & best friend Amanda (Harman) Musarra, cherished Auntie to Rain and Riley Musarra. Her maternal grandmother Bonnie (Schroeder) Houck and her paternal grandparents David and Agnes (Livezey) Harman, a great uncle and aunts and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Paul Houck.
