Alice DiForti Obituary

Alice Fay DiForti, 84, of Stroudsburg passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Edison, NJ she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Gandola) Karasinkski. Alice was the wife of James V. DiForti, with whom she was married 64 years.

Alice was of the Catholic faith and a member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Tannersville. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Alice has resided in Stroudsburg for the past 22 years and prior to that in Edison, NJ.

In addition to her husband James, Alice is survived by her children; Anthony V. Diforti and wife Doris of Port Richie, FL and James M. Diforti and wife Tangereen of South Amboy NJ, along with 3 grandchildren; Nicholas, Michael, and Stephanie, and sister; Eleanor Scranton of Spotswood New Jersey.

Cremation will be private. The Joseph J Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 is assisting the family with arrangements.
