Ajani Jermaine Raymond Samuels, 5, of Bronx, New York died Sunday, May 10, 2026. Born in Queens, New York, he was the son of Jermaine Samuels and Morella Browne.

Ajani was an energetic, loving child who was always smiling. He enjoyed playing, organizing things and loved to color. His short time on earth leaves a lasting impact on all who were blessed to know him.

Along with his parents, Ajani is survived by his siblings: Jahquana, Kiarra, Jahquani, Kimani, and Reanna Samuels; grandmother: Ruthlyn Mason; aunts & uncles: Lorna Goodwine; Rachel Samuels; Lashley Philip; Patrick Philip; Avonelle Philip; Nadine McEwen-Browne; Costello Francis; Denise Francis; Kerene Samuels; Raymond Samuels as well as many other aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 12:00pm at the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church, 915 N 5th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at the Stroudsburg Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
