Aida Ramos, 61, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, August 4, 2024, at her residence. She was the loving companion of Hector Valentin for almost 30 years. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Tomas and Francisca (Torres) Ramos.
Aida was a great hostess. If you knew her, you knew her amazing cooking and how she could prepare meals for a crowd or just for family. Her baking and cooking would leave you thinking you were at a restaurant. She loved the outdoors, especially the beach. While she had some health struggles, she was always sweet and smiling. Her love for elephants led to an extensive collection of statues that she cherished. Often times you would find her enjoying reruns of COPS or her favorite telenovelas.
Along with her companion, she is survived by her children: Angel Viera, Veronica Ramos; siblings: Elisa Ramos, Angel Ramos, Daniel Ramos, Junior Ramos, and her dear friends.
As per her wishes, there will be no services. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N. 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
