Matteo Gaudiuso

      Matteo Gaudiuso 82 of Bushkill, Pa. passed away on Monday March 18, 2024. He was the loving husband of Angelina (Marsaro) Gaudiuso with whom he had celebrated 52 years of marriage.

  Born in Italy he was the son of Vincenzo and Veronica (Resce) Gaudiuso. Matteo was a resident of the Bushkill area for the past 26 years. He was employed as a carpenter for the New York City Transit company for many years. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic church in East Stroudsburg, Pa.

 In addition to his wife Angelina he is survived by 2 sons: Matthew Gaudiuso and his wife Jolie of Whitehall, Pa. and Simon Gaudiuso of Farmingdale, N.Y. a granddaughter Marissa and his siblings: Anthony Gauduiso, Nicholas Gaudiuso and Mariella Gaudiuso.

  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday March 21, 2024, at 10:00am at St. John’s Catholic Church 5171 Milford Rd. East Stroudsburg, Pa. 18302 with Fr. Gregory Reichlen as celebrant. Interment will take place at 1:00pm in the Prospect Cemetery E. Stroudsburg, Pa. There will be a viewing on Thursday March 21, 2024, from 9:00am until the time of the mass at the church. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. is in charge of the arrangements.
