Elaine Patricia Joye

Elaine Patricia Joye, 75, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.  She was the loving wife of William Joye with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. Born in Harlem ,New York, she was a daughter of the late Geneva Patricia Frazier.

Elaine dedicated her life to Jehovah and her family. During her working career, she was a teacher’s aid for elementary school children.She was also active in field service as a pioneer, doting grandmother/great grandmother, homemaker,chef, gardener, and loving, supportive friend. The word that can best describe Elaine is “extraordinary”.She will forever be loved and missed by her family and dear friends.

Along with her husband, Elaine is survived by her children: Derek Joye, Dennis Joye, Darlene Joye, Danielle Joye, Dexston Joye; many grandchildren; and Three great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son Daren Joye; her granddaughter Dennaisha Joye; great grandsons Jamari Joye; Niyè Joye; and her sisters. 

A graveside service will take place on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Rosehill Cemetery, 350 E. Linden Street, Linden, New Jersey 07036.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N. 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
