Colleen F. Williston, 35, of East Stroudsburg, died tragically on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Her life was cut short, a victim of domestic violence in Rockland County, New York. Born in Morristown, New Jersey, she was a daughter to Robert and Paula (Ginda) Williston of East Stroudsburg.
Colleen had a passion to read, write and journal. She was working on completing her education to become a teacher. She enjoyed all animals but especially had an affinity for exotic animals. When she was younger, and you walked into her home, you would find aquarium tanks with different reptiles, spiders and snakes she kept as pets. Colleen never missed an episode of “Ancient Aliens,” and could provide you with a plethora of knowledge proving the existence of life beyond this planet. While she never thought she would have children, being a mother was so fulfilling for her and she doted over her beautiful daughters, they were the joy and loves of her life.
Along with her loving parents, Colleen is survived by her daughters; Ivy Rose and Violet Eve aka Poe; sister Christine Williston; uncle Joseph Ginda and his husband, Dan O’Brien; aunt Wendy Marchev and her husband, Christopher niece Annabella; nephews Anthony, Alexander and many dear friends.
There will be no services at this time. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
